Investment must be continuous – regardless of market movements
The risk of trying to predict market movements is that we get it wrong. The sharpest movements can happen over very brief periods of time. And anyway, why would we want to ‘time’ the markets when maintaining a constant exposure can deliver very satisfactory annual returns over the longer term?
